Moscow Mitch won’t bring anything to the Senate floor but he’s not going to be there forever. Plenty of states have put up legislation over the years with support of their constituents. Gun ownership is shrinking, it’s fewer nuts buying more guns. The political support for more guns is not there.

Give it a month and these three shootings will also be forgotten . Cold hard campaign cash such as the 3 million bucks Rob Portman got from the NRA will always close mouths and shorten memories.
