To be honest, I have a faint recall of Shay's rebellion, I can bone up and report back. Under the Articles of Confederation there would be no Federal government.

Donald Trump has every right to realize the warrant to the public. The reason he hasn't yet probably has something to do with him being able to fundraise off the mystery and blind anger from his fervent base.

Oh I suspect the good old US gov't will hold together for a while yet. We are each and all, myself included, far too adapted to this way of life to choose another. As you say, warlords would emerge to form a new racket/gov't.

I don't understand this veneration for the constitution. You understand that the Constitution was written precisely to strengthen the federal gov't, right? And what a good job it has done!

They wanted to strengthen the role and authority of the national government but feared creating a central government that was too powerful. They wished to preserve state autonomy, although not to a degree that prevented the states from working together collectively or made them entirely independent of the will of the national government. While seeking to protect the rights of individuals from government abuse, they nevertheless wished to create a society in which concerns for law and order did not give way in the face of demands for individual liberty. They wished to give political rights to all free men but also feared mob rule.

this mindset generated in the late 1700's is incredible and truthfully very progressive for the time.

Well said but, one can’t help see the denial, stonewalling, no media, and the scent and focus on the Trumpster..
The horse you have in this race is the corruption and control at this level, every American should be waving red flags and screaming enough is enough.
The last couple of years have been everything the founders knew would bring down the American experiment.

its a case where we have seen whats on hunters laptop, we've heard his business partner reveal their inner workings.

the only thing complex is he's the presidents son and the president was a recipient of the proceeds from their business ventures.

the FBI agency that colluded with the Clintons wants no part of this case and will bury it.
