Hi Guest. I just wanted to let you know that there will be some service disruptions here over the next few days. We're moving to a new server and then the latest version of xenforo is going to be installed. ~ cheryl

Do you get your first raise after one year of seniority or one year of being hired? My shop stewart said the latter but it sounds wrong.

Not talking about the 75 cents raise. Going from 21 to 23 an hour

One year after being hired if a driver until full rate. Then Aug 1. Or one year after being hired if inside.

Your anniversary hire date until full rate.

Here once you pass your 30 days your seniority date is your hire date.

I started Nov. 2017. Went full time with Seniority January 2018, received my first raise and vaca in January 2019. It’s based on Seniority date.

This. You don’t start gaining seniority until after your 30 days here. Before that, you don’t exist.

To make sure we understand each other.
If you first say is July 1st and 30 working days later you qualify. Your seniority date is July 1st here. Not the day you qualify.

Correct unless you are hired somewhere around October, can’t remember the exact date. Then your 30 day clock doesn’t start until the new year.

I am pretty sure that there is no company wide standard or directive when it comes to seniority date; My seniority date is my first day of drive school. Others in my building have a first day on road seniority date. Others have a completed packet day seniority date.
    So basically, it’s totally random...

Could have also asked what saying July 1st has to do with qualifying?
