Yes our branch has DRA.
When you say it doesn't tell you which door to deliver to do you mean that it doesn't tell you back door, front door, dock, front of store, etc?
I could see that wasting valuable time if your in a hurry and for instance, pull to the back of a grocery store only to be told to drive around and drop it off up front.
Anyways, great thread, nice to see someone experiencing the same type of work I'm going into and sharing it with us.[/QUOTE
We don't have DRA here, but can only assume that the delivery point info and preferences have to be entered by someone on the powerpad before they show up on that address for future deliveries. I use this rule of thumb, if it's an envelope or small box or boxes, they go to the front door, if big box or bulk, receiving or back door. Once in awhile you have the people at the front door who won't sign and make you go out back, but you get used to the "I don't want to be responsible" types who won't sign for anything. Grocery stores, I always hit the front door first, since it's usually for the manager.
