So, what are the work requirements?
Different for different states I'm sure. Maine's are the following:

I held many jobs, telephone operator, answering service, babysitter, realtor, car dealership, etc. etc. I had jobs while we moved from place to place. I never said I had a "career". Mom was the most important of all the jobs.


My Mother was a phone operator for Ma Bell in the 50's through the 70's. Back when they sat at a switchboard with a hundred cords to connect. She liked the day shift but hated the night and split shifts. We were one of the few families at that time with both parents working. Us boys raised ourselves for the most part. (we didn't do a very good job of it). :rolleyes:
