Does everybody remember the term “Essential Worker” during the peak of this pandemic.

Most of the office non union employees worked from home for the most part, this opened up the current phase of gutting middle managers.

Now it is “ big fish eating the little ones”...no more high salary, easy street do nothing positions.. sitting behind the desk and looking pretty ain’t going to cut it anymore.

I completely describes a UPS management team during the pandemic

That court case that Ford lost, where the jury awarded the family $1.7B is misleading.
Under GA State Laws the family & lawyers have only $425M to split between them, 25%
The State of GA takes 75% of the award - $1.275B

they've found ways to use technology to eliminate a lot of staff jobs. eliminated most of HR and IE.
Just like Macdonalds automates the ordering processes, ups is not immune to technology cuts either.

you guys realize there is a lot of this on the horizon?

self driving technology affecting feeders.

I'd love to come back in 300 years and see what everyones doing with their spare time when robots are doing all the work for us.

They can do the same thing at home as they did at the plant.

We were recently at my state capital with my local to discuss some of those issues including driverless technology. I’m not sure people realize how close it is to reality and how scary it really is.
