From Full Time to Cover Driver

We have bid cover spots open every 2 years based on seniority. They always fall to the lower and lowest seniority drivers. They are still full time however.

Not us, it’s the opposite. We have bid routes open that they have 2 force bottom seniority on

Yeah sometimes during bids there may be one or 2 routes left after FT cover spots are taken... not always. That being said cover spots are usually bid here at or near the end.

Cover driver means different things in different supplements. What local are you? This will help us better answer your question.

Here once you go fulltime you can not go back to cover driver or part time.
