Make sure its grade A mulch.

You won't see that anywhere on the mulch but there are differences and some places try to sell crap mulch at the same price as the good stuff.

I had a big mulch company on my route that would grind up anything and sell it as mulch.

Getting the color to last longer was what I always looked for.

I use rubber mulch..doesn't fade

It's mostly ground up demo/ waste wood here. That bag u buy at lowes or the depot is all junk like that
