I don't have to twist your words when you make inherently stupid arguments.

You’re a fine one to talk after all you’re the who brought up 1950’s technology, not me jackass.I don't have to twist your words when you make inherently stupid arguments.
Just one word. DRONES...
Aka management? We already have these Drones you speak of... they hover around the sort belt all morning, making lots of noise and are generally just
a nuisance while we try to work.

Worse than buzzards. At least buzzards don’t try to act important while they hover around.Aka management?
What you talking about. Management always have both hands busy. One hand holding a coffee, the other hand in their pockey.Worse than buzzards. At least buzzards don’t try to act important while they hover around.

Talk about contradicting one's self within the space of one page. No wonder no one here believes your BS. Except for you Mr. Pathetic.I'm not the who bought up 1950s technology.

Does it matter who's fault it was? I thought automated driving is supposed to be smarter and faster than human drivers. The pedestrian was at fault in that accident.

So what's the point of autonomous cars if they aren't any better than a human driver. It was determined that a human driver would not have been able to react in time and would have also struck and killed her.

A fair point but automation doesn’t change the laws of physics. It merely aims to optimize a system within those laws.So what's the point of autonomous cars if they aren't any better than a human driver.
I am concerned though that going forward Uber will insist that every accident is “not at fault” for them and leave victims screwed with no way to fight the giant corporation.
But any finding contrary to Uber’s wishes will be challenged and tied up in court for decades. The investigation was conducted by the local police independent of Uber or any outside counsel.
Uber will have all the data, so they probably won't be wrong often. They'll have the video and sensor data, if they try to doctor it up they'd probably get caught easily. But any finding contrary to Uber’s wishes will be challenged and tied up in court for decades.
If it belongs to Uber, they don’t have to provide incriminating data, do they?Uber will have all the data, so they probably won't be wrong often. They'll have the video and sensor data, if they try to doctor it up they'd probably get caught easily.
