One funny part was when Cain slipped and called Wolf Blitzer, Blitz. Wolf returned the favor and said, "Thanks, Cain". It was cute.
I think both Mitt and Newt did well.
I agree with the can't put my finger on. I pick up the same gut feeling.I have always liked some of Ron Paul's positions, but there also has always been something I can't put my finger on that bothers me about him. Over all he's pretty damn consistent. This all goes back way before this election cycle.

I think I know what causes that unsettling feeling. To me it's obvious ...

First & Foremost, he'd be a Texan.......that's usually all we need to know.......that makes him a good guy. I'm leaning to Mitt or Newt, whoever gets the nomination. One question I have about RP, if he were to be elected PotUS would he remain a republican or would he switch back to Libertarian ?

This is my opinion, you're not going to change it so don't bother preaching....It's the academia coming out in him.
Ron Paul is not a native Texan.
Ron Paul was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1935, and raised in PA.
It was not until 1968 that he moved to Texas.

You're a peach!Neither was daddy or baby Bush but everyone calls them Texans. I wasn't born in Georgia but yet I'm called and I call myself a Georgian so get over it!
Besides no one called anyone native to begin with although in Rick Perry's case, he is!
I have to disagree on this.
I think it is the es sense of humanity coming out from him.
This is the very issue that has bothered me the most about unilaterally throwing them all back across the river into Mexico.
I agree with what most of them are saying and that is secure the border now and then we work out what to do with the existing people in the US.
If the National and State governments repealed all the Social programs that is causing the most uproar, then the isue sort of melts away.
That is, the real issue is the Socialism that exists in the US ... not the hard-working people coming here looking for an opportunity to get ahead in life by hard work.
