We are talking about minor surgery with a minimal recovery period.

Have them yanked Friday morning and lay on the couch all weekend.

When my daughter had hers taken out the first thing she wanted was a chocolate shake.

Very serious!FMLA protects drivers from getting disciplined for attendance. I've been thru the red tape and this is how it's done. Are you a driver? Newbie! Etc.

I went to the dentist in January and they recommended that I get my wisdom teeth taken out. However, I went to see a specialist in May. They said that when i was having trouble sleeping through the night because of the pain (which I am now) that it would be time to remove the teeth. My vacation is not for a month and a half and my teeth really hurt. So I asked my sup if I bring in an oral surgeon's note if my absence would not count against me. She said no they will count. Is this true and how can they expect you to come to work when you are taking pain medicine for your teeth? Is my boss the only boss at UPS that thinks that way?

Have them yanked out on a Friday and you should be good to go by Monday morning.

Dunno wat happened there.... But get them pulled on a wed..take rest of week......cmon use this to your advantage....also don't ask them, tell them, hey I'm getting teeth pulled next week I won't be here day-day, I'll bring u a note...end of story

We are allowed to save up to two weeks of our vacation to take as single days. That way if you are sick you burn one of those but that is only if you selected to use them as SVD days otherwise you just don't get paid.

When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, I went in on a Thursday night, called out friday. I went in, they gave me an IV, I asked how long does this take to work?

Next thing I remember I woke up with some wadding in my mouth. No pain just groggy. Completely uneventful.

Was fine by Monday
