Global warming

in the last 15 minutes ralph nader interviews:

David Helvarg is Executive Director of Blue Frontier, an ocean conservation and policy group. His latest book is The Golden Shore — California’s Love Affair with the Sea, which has just been released in paperback. And his recent op-ed in the Los Angeles Times, which we’re going to talk about today, opens with the line “When Floridians narrowly voted for Donald Trump on Nov. 8, they might as well have elected to drown themselves.”

they talk about how some coastal florida cities are spending 1 billion and raising streets and building pumps because of increased flooding partly related to global warming.

Ignorance of science and facts are the new normal.

We're not "climate skeptics" or "climate change deniers". We seem to be the only ones that understand that the earth's climate changes every second and has gone through significant changes for 4,500,000,000 years.

Last week, my area got 15" of snow on Saturday and a few days later it was 60 degrees. Typical New England. Yes, micro climate change. The last 500 years is micro change compared to billions of years.

We just disagree that the science is settled or finalized. It's ludicrous to believe that. There's so much that is unknown and the left wants to end the discussion. I've heard from scientists directly that they have been destroyed and discredited for not walking in lock step. And there's a lot of them out there, not just 2%. Science is all about questioning things and with climate, you are not allowed to question. It's not science, it's a religion.

That's called weather not climate. Jesus man, grade school knowledge.

I understand the difference dude. The two are often conflated in the discussion.

Climate change pushers constantly point out the yearly changes and that this is the hottest year to date. Is this a year's weather (combines temps) or does that qualify as "climate change" in the grand scheme of billions of years of climate?

If this year is .01 degree cooler than 2016, is global warming debunked for good?

Correction, both sides of the debate do that. Take off your blinders.
