I eat during the day. I take my meal break during that time as it is a natural break between my deliveries and pickups.

Who says he can't take lunch earlier, if he wanted to? Remember, most UPS routes do a delivery route AND a pickup route. You can equate that to our split shift routes. When I ran my split shift, I would take lunch from 1400-1500. If I took my time on deliveries, it would be from 1430-1500. I always hated 1 hour lunches.

A few times over the years I was so far from a restroom I actually did it outside. Got a shock one time in New Mexico when a half dozen Border Patrol agents rode up on horses to check out why I stopped. One was the best looking lady agent I'd ever seen. They were laughing as they rode off.

I had a country run for several years and also never had to resort to doing that. That's not to say I didn't stop and take a leak on the side of the road, as needed, but I never got to the point where I had to **** on the side of the road.

Put a new SR bag in the trash can in your truck which makes it easier to squat, and in the privacy of the back of the truck. Pitch bag into the next dumpster you come across.

Yep. That's what I'd do if I had to, but haven't had to.
