Very true but the biggest problem is you cannot have a DOT card if you test positive and you lose your CDL if you have one. Those cards are not rights, they are privileges and they make the rules. My opinion on it doesn’t matter, there’s does.

That is up to the state you live in if it’s illegal or not. DOT and CDL are federal.

DOT does not do random but they can pull your card if you test positive for any other reason. CDL does randoms. Either way you don’t drive you don’t have a job if you test positive.

You’re retired so you’re not jeopardizing your job. That is my issue with most, if it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t affect your brain why is it so important for some people to do it all the time? Even under threat of losing everything. I’ve heard lots of guys say they can quit whenever they want.
