Hilary Clinton

It will be fine

More so than party leaders in smoky rooms? I doubt it.

Sadly, if the paper trail is correct, doesn't even look illegal.

Kind of like Fedex running contractors like employees. It's not right but it sure is legal.
I'll go out on a limb and say the party elites have always chosen their nominee. This seemed like a straight forward deal. The DNC needed Clinton's cash and she got their support in return. Welcome to the world, money talks.

True. Probably shouldn't be like this but nobody's surprised.

this one was retweeted by julian assange:

The only problem with that is that by no stretch of the imagination does it nullify the blatant power advantage Clinton was given by the rest of the agreement, which does indeed violate the DNC’s obligation of impartiality and neutrality through the nominating process. Scribbling the equivalent of “Oh hey, to anyone reading this in the future, we agree with each other that we’re not breaking any rules here” does not mean that rules were not broken. Scribbling “this is not a rule violation” on a rule violation, René Magritte style, doesn’t stop it from being a rule violation.

...Such large individual donations were permitted by campaign finance law via a loophole because the money was meant to be distributed throughout state party races across the country, but according to Donna Brazile virtually all of it got funneled to the Clinton campaign.

This is a bigger interference in the election than all Russian ads combined. Twitter just admitted to hiding 48% of tweets about DNC leak.

Twitter boasts that it "hid" 48% of tweets with the #DNCLeaks hashtag, despite only 2% coming from "potentially Russian-linked accounts"

this article talks about how obama neglected the DNC. obama was a major crook.

Angry About the DNC Scandal? Thank Obama.

"
Obama was re-elected, but the party itself went on a historic losing spree, ultimately shedding nearly 1,000 seats across the country. Even after Democrats lost the Senate in 2014, and the DNC continued spending money on consultants at an eye-popping rate, Obama decided not to make a leadership change. Instead, he left it saddled with debt — debt the Clinton campaign would later agree to pay off in exchange for control.

Obama finally became interested in the party after the 2016 loss. His final gift to the party apparatus was Tom Perez, his labor secretary, who he recruited to stop Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., from winning the race for DNC chair. Obama and Perez won. DNC funding has been anemic, and it recently had to add to its roughly $3 million in debt."

"
“The agreement — signed by Amy Dacey, the former CEO of the DNC, and Robby Mook with a copy to Marc Elias — specified that in exchange for raising money and investing in the DNC, Hillary would control the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised. Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the party communications director, and it would make final decisions on all the other staff,” Brazile wrote in an explosive excerpt of her book published Thursday in Politico. “The DNC also was required to consult with the campaign about all other staffing, budgeting, data, analytics, and mailings.”

Brazile’s belated acknowledgement that the DNC was, in fact, under the direct control of the Clinton campaign, rather than a neutral arbiter of the race, has enflamed a long-burning fight between Clinton’s backers and those of 2016 presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, lending official credence to the argument that the DNC was tilted in Clinton’s favor."

Don't buy her book and maybe she'll go away.

Yeah, buy Donna Brazile's book instead... Sounds much more interesting.

DNC’S DONNA BRAZILE DEDICATED HER BOOK TO ‘PATRIOT’ SETH RICH, WHOSE DEATH MADE HER FEAR FOR HER OWN LIFE

Rich appears elsewhere in Brazile’s book, as the Post reported earlier in the weekend. She wrote that Rich’s murder haunted her and that she'd installed surveillance cameras at her home and would keep the blinds in her office window closed so she could not be seen by snipers, according to the Post.
