So with this wording, why are we forced to work the day after Thanksgiving? Union steward told me yes we work, we get double time plus holiday pay and I could always just call in. Why would I need to call it when it clearly states we shall not be required to work.
It was already "provided" in this agreement that you shall not be required to work the listed holidays. Why are there 2 sections that contradict each other?This is why.
