How Are You Children Handling This Crisis?

Haven't heard any news stories about this? The CV-19 from the childs' point of view. Are children scared? Or are they making due better than the adults.

In our youth we had to hide under our desks in case of a WWIII Nuclear Attack. But i don't remember being scared about it.

I always liked it ... a good chance to find the best wads of gum stuck on the bottom.

I guess you meant "your" children?

Thought this was going to be a thread about these crybaby liberal children on BC that are having mental breakdowns about this apocalyptic event happening right now.

The best advice that I have read on this is to make sure your children maintain their normal routines as much as possible. Getting up at about the same time, getting dressed as though they were getting ready for their day, etc. As far as what to tell them, answer their questions directly but do not offer more information than necessary. Their reactions to this crisis will mirror yours so if you maintain a sense of normalcy they will as well.

Weather permitting, try to get outside as much as possible.

No, it doesn't; however, mix in booze and mandate that people stay confined in their homes, and.......
One thing I've observed about everyone being forced in together lately would make you think people were meant to be alone after all. Looks like I've always had the right idea.

Honestly my life hasn't changed much at all. I hate to say it but if it wasn't for my IBEW application getting royally :censored2:ED this would feel more like a break than anything.
My life has changed very little.
I’ve enjoyed the isolation.
That would probably concern my psychiatrist.

My adult children, none of whom live in my city, have been around more than ever. It's been fun cooking, eating, drinking, walking etc. It's keeping us all sane.

Why are your adult kids breaking the shelter in place rules?
My daughter is 46 and I miss seeing her and talking to her.
I use to see her 3 - 4 times a week.
I have not seen her or my grandson in almost a month now!

Our children has wanted to visit with grandkids and we said no. I think the younger people are not taking this very seriously. It's the invincibility thinking that they have. I vaguely remember being in my teens and twenties thinking I would live forever.

Spring break and other gatherings would still go on unless they are shut down by the old foggies.

Home schooled grandkids. Not much has changed for them except no Poppy and Nonny.
FaceTime just isn't cutting it.
The grankiddos just don't understand why everyone is sick and why it's taking so long to get better.
We miss them terribly.
