How Are You Children Handling This Crisis?

The best advice that I have read on this is to make sure your children maintain their normal routines as much as possible. Getting up at about the same time, getting dressed as though they were getting ready for their day, etc. As far as what to tell them, answer their questions directly but do not offer more information than necessary. Their reactions to this crisis will mirror yours so if you maintain a sense of normalcy they will as well.

Weather permitting, try to get outside as much as possible.
Weather permitting? What the hell kinda kid were you?

Our children has wanted to visit with grandkids and we said no. I think the younger people are not taking this very seriously. It's the invincibility thinking that they have. I vaguely remember being in my teens and twenties thinking I would live forever.

Spring break and other gatherings would still go on unless they are shut down by the old foggies.

not seeing our grandson is killing us though we do get to see his video's on whatsapp

Now you are a medical doctor and pyschologist? Smh. You have to be a modern day genius.
Why wouldn't you just explain to kids the real deal, and use it as a good example of why we promote good hygiene..
