I assume you mean clawing back? Just take the cash and don’t worry about if they are feeling extra generous.

When they do finally realize they screwed up, be willing to pay it back but tell them you want 52 weeks.

You can go back 6 months in the State of Washington. State Labor laws always are more generous than corporate policy.

I would get a witness and tell manager you have a payroll error and you want a green check NDA. When they do nothing, file a grievance. Penalties in the West are 4 hours pay every week they don't make it whole. I have seen guys get $1500 in penalties for a 2 hour short check because these new supes and managers are morons and can't figure out how to fix it.

Here, if you tell them, they have 5 working days to correct, most the time they don't, because it is too much a hassle.
