We have to work both or be scheduled off for one or both to get paid for the holiday.
Actually makes sense now that I think about it a little bit more. I mixed up my payroll weeks.

It is weird though. I was on FMLA last summer and I got paid for July 4th even though I hadn't worked the previous week or the week after.

I am not that familiar w/FMLA but don't see where it would be fair to lose holiday pay while on an approved unpaid leave.

FMLA counts the same as working. UPS still contributes to the pension/healthcare with FMLA.
