Either way, I believe there could be pictures of a welcome reception for the Company and Union representatives, that is held quarterly at every Central Region JAC Panel I have been to.

Each year the Company chooses two venues, as does the Union.
On those corresponding panels, whoever chose, pays for the reception.

This is a time honored practice in almost all facets of the business world and nothing nefarious.

JC43 and UPS split the cost of the last venue. The other 3 JAC that does not happen.

So it's only a Michigan thing?

Honestly, the only JAC's I have traveled to overnight were in Traverse City?

Typically each side chooses 2 locations but reception thing doesn't normally happen.
