Shouldn’t have to pay for either is my point. But one side thinks paying for one is perfectly reasonable but paying for the other is just insulting.

So my wife’s work is finding out just how much no one wants to be in Illinois.


They’ve had about 15 (of 60-70) coworkers leave in the past 18 months and they haven’t been able to replace a single one. The hospital has interviewed and offered jobs to about 30 people but not a single person has accepted. The number one reason the hospital says they are getting for people not accepting the offers is they don’t want to live in Illinois and would rather accept a worse compensation packed in a bordering state if offered.
