im not anti america, im anti segments of america like the govt especially is badly behaved.

any truly free society wouldnt have you thinking in terms of "anti america" or "attacking you".

but anyways my guess is i wont be coming back to america for 10 years.

i just filled out another DHS complaint form. im gonna go to the media too depending on their, im guessing, inadequate response.

the better question is why do people who talk politics all the time (on BC too) do nothing besides vote? why dont conservatives act conservative (they change some things pretty radically)?
I live in a VERY liberal democratic state and town. In order to survive , one has to blend in. The fact that I'm a CCW holder makes it even more important. It would really flip the liberals here if they knew just how many of their neighbors were licensed gun owners. Latest numbers I have put it at about 23 %.

the former CEO of goldman sachs was addressing new members of congress. in the right wingers alternate reality where immigrants control the govt, an immigrant would be addressing the new members of congress...

I spent three months in the interior of Mexico and about 5 years on the Mexican border. Mexico is a lot more developed than you think. And yes, according to the government, more than half of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border are now from Central America. Especially from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Using Socialist logic, you're still wrong. That's todays' world.

Well that's just stupid. NAFTA put millions of Mexicans to work.

You took a trip to Mexico, so that means you know all about the effects of NAFTA on Mexico's labor market.

You must have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Seriously, Ricky is right, you are wrong.
Carry on.

I've got an old Guinness Book Of Records from 1972. Under the category of immigration it says that in the US at that time 30% of the population of the US was illegal immigrants. We should have built that wall years ago.

Do you have any idea how many American factories are in Mexico because of NAFTA? Have you travelled around Mexico and seen all of the American stores and restaurant chains that are there because of NAFTA? You don't have a clue what you're talking about. I've been in four different regions of Mexico and have seen for myself. And spent a couple of decades on expat forums talking to Americans all over Mexico. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight clueless.

I had friends who worked at RCA - manufacturing plant was moved to Juarez (sp) - yes, all those workers now had to find new jobs - where is RCA now? No where. Do not buy products made in Mexico as someone here lost their job for corporate greed. Went to Mexico once - never again. They treat Americans like we owe them something. Went with friend and their school age kids (3rd and 5th graders at the time) it was a real eye opener for them. NAFTA was a horrible move.
