Sadly, we’re being hijacked by folk who think the document, as written, cannot possibly have any changes, even 240 years later.

Sad.
That's incorrect.
Changes to the document have to occur through the legislative process.
What you want is for unelected judges to make laws from the bench which is against the underlying principles of the Constitution.

Sad.
It has had numerous changes since it's inception. But the founding fathers made it so that you can't just change it at a moment's notice to reflect the current fad. The changes that have occurred have been momentous ones dealing with rights mostly.

No thanks. I’m no commie socia but I do believe in helping the needy wherever possible, so I’mma have to graciously pass this one onto @rickyb . It’ll probably be the only meal he gets all day so it’s best he front-load his calories.
