Went to store yesterday and several shelves were depleted. I mentioned it to the checker and she said it was like armageddon all day.

With a mortality rate 20x that of the flu, if it does spread as much as the flu, the death toll will be 7 figures.

But at this point I believe the panic will be more harmful than the virus.

Winner Winner This Virus hasn't infected very many yet. If it gets as many sick as the Flu does, and the death rate stays at 3% something then the death numbers will dwarf the flu. Warm weather is coming as this tends to stop these type of things...

I asked a friend about the weather thing since he is a doctor and he told me since it is a novel virus, it won’t be a seasonal thing. We don’t have antibodies for it so it’ll just pass from host to host. Said best thing you can do is learn to not touch your face and wash you hands

Tell your doctor to stick to his GP practice and leave the specialties to the specialists.

The infectious disease specialists have no idea how the weather will affect this virus.

Some say that if it follows the characteristics of the rest of the family, the warm weather will affect it. Some say it may not.

Bottom line, they have no clue. Did this friend doctor tell you he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

You shouldn't be anymore worried about this overblown coronavirus than you would the flu. Just wash the hands regularly people and don"t put your hands in your mouth. Damn there are a lot of naive people out there!
5 schools closed in Pennsylvania 1 in Chicago are you a Democrat or something. They don't close school for the flu. You are the naive one.

.1 get the flu die. The mortality rate goes up daily from 3% to 5% some as high as 20%. And people that tested positive then negative are dying and or retested positive.

fact is, they have done heat testing on the virus.

in the temps we have now, the virus can survive up to 6 hours on a metal surface.

when it was put under heat to simulate the summer temps, it survived merely 6 minutes.

Corporate saw this and will be getting A/C put in all trucks and cargo areas within the next month

Curious where you read that? Mind sharing the source? Mers originated in the Middle East where is extremely hot. It also is a Coronavirus so doesn’t really help the whole summer will help is situation. I’m no expert but I did stay at a holiday inn express a few times.

Where the union is strong and grievances are encouraged. File my brothers and sisters.
1 union steward just settled over 30000 $ worth of supervisor working grievances. And she was the one with the least amount. I had many coworkers get checks for over 1000 after taxes. I only got 150$. I like my full-time supervisor he is a good guy. But I told him it's hard to pass on the free money so I'm going to file everything I see and told him don't take it personal. He said he understands and he won't retaliate.

But the fact that the company is willing to finally settle thousands of grievances worth over 100,000 makes me nervous that the layoffs may be coming I'm not worried I got 24 years but others should be worried.
