Was wondering if anybody has had a IME and how did it go? I’ve been out on a worker’s comp claim since mid November of last year, have had 3 sets of bi-lateral injections in my back with little effect. And for a cherry on top I’m due to retire next year...

Liberty Mutual sent me to see four IME's over the course of my 38 years at UPS. Three of them agreed with my MD and the treatment I was receiving. The other one was for two herniated discs in my low back but the IME diagnosed me with a simple muscle strain, determined that I had reached the healing plateau, and sent me back to work. Filed an appeal against Liberty Mutual and they settled the day before the hearing because they knew that they had no chance.

Always laughed at the guys that couldn't retire because they had missed so much time they didn't have enough credits to retire

We had a driver called "Back brace Bill". Another driver, in the company doctor's waiting room, getting his DOT, saw him wearing a back brace, something he never wore at work.
