I definitely wouldn't want to be a new driver starting out now.I agree. A lot of word of mouth interpretation going on. Unfortunately all the 22.4 drivers are going to have to wait and see how it gets handled and grieve from there.

It's not going to get any better.I know. I'm so glad I got in as the last contract expired. There is a group of us (15 or so) that feel very lucky not to have to deal with it.
It's not going to get any better.
I'm sure all if the young guys are going to want to work Saturday and Sunday...Bad enough to know I've got 17+ to go, wouldn't want to deal with 22.4 on top of it. But you do what you have to, and unfortunately 22.4 is the new reality for newbies.

I'll work a Sunday because that would be double time for me.I've got drivers with 20+ years in that sign up to work Saturday and Sunday if needed. I know the money is good but no thanks. I hated working T-S when I got FT, couldn't wait for bids to come and get back to M-friend.
I hope that Big Union Guy....doesn't see this. Lol.I can't get any clear language on that. Whenever we eventually get those 22.4 jobs I heard they are locked into them for a year and can't bid on a RPCD job until they have a year in. It's scaring some of these guys about signing a bid.
The language in this contract sucks big time.
Sad day my friend.
Vague language = bad language.I hope that Big Union Guy....doesn't see this. Lol.
Crap language = crap language. Oops- I hope that Big Union Guy....doesn't see this. Lol.Vague language = bad language.
Apparently some here do because they are at work a couple hours prior to start time. Lol.Anyone miss there PT preload/local sort friends and/or relationships after going driving fulltime?
I know some guys hated their time as PT inside. Im thinking it'll be a big lifestyle change for me, being out driving alone all the time save for some customers you see for 30 seconds every now and then.Apparently some here do because they are at work a couple hours prior to start time. Lol.
Article 40 combo is not a 22.3, though? Are you talking about 22.4? They are combo air drivers if making PT ratr inside and progression outside. I had one of those jobs.I can only go by what the 22.3 drivers told me when I asked them about what they make.
Of course different supplements may be worded differently.
