Issuing a call to arms, an angry Reverend Al Sharpton today claimed Republicans utilized fraudulent tactics to win yesterday’s gubernatorial recall vote in Wisconsin.

Claiming the results “emboldened the right-wing”, the MSNBC host told radio listeners it was a mere trial run for widespread vote theft designed to steal November’s presidential election outright.

Comparing their loss to a boxing match, Sharpton told supporters they could either remain “groggy” after a hit on the head or “double-down and get ready to fight.”

They rose to their feet when a local teachers union head screamed that Walker is a serial liar. And they cheered wildly when Jackson compared Walker to segregationist Alabama governor George Wallace.

In 2009, however, Obama extended three provisions of the Patriot Act – allowing roving wiretaps, which would allow monitoring of an individual instead of a specific number; seizure of financial, medical, library and other records of suspected terrorists; and monitoring someone suspected of engaging in terrorism who may not be linked to a specific terrorist group, the Washington Times reported on Sept. 16, 2009.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A suspect remained on the loose late Tuesday evening, after stabbing a teenage girl nearly a dozen times just steps from her front door in the Woodhaven section of Queens.

As CBS 2’s Alice Gainer reported, Natasha Martinez, 17, remained at Jamaica Hospital after undergoing surgery for stab wounds to her back, arms, stomach and kidney.

Martinez was walking home from work alone around 11 p.m. Monday when a man came up behind her on 85th Street and plunged the knife into her repeatedly.
“She’s in the hospital in really bad condition, you know,” said Natasha’s mother, Wendy Martinez.

As CBS 2’s Don Champion reported, a surveillance video shows the stabbing suspect moments before his act Monday night, strolling along wearing a hoodie.

Investigators Tuesday had only a vague description of the suspect, who is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-6, last seen wearing a white T-shirt, police said

“We still have to fight!” Sharpton said as the candidates — including the embattled Anthony Weiner — applauded, according to the Long Island Newsday. Sharpton has not made an endorsement in the mayoral race.

Last week, a grand jury in the Bronx decided there was not enough evidence to re-indict officer Richard Haste in the death of Ramarley Graham. The teen was shot and killed by Haste, who said he thought Graham was armed after he had attempted to elude police by running into his home.

Following the decision, Graham’s mother, Constance Malcom, turned to Facebook to express her outrage that a cop “who murders innocent people of color” was permitted to “walk free.”
