But this is definitely a BS non-issue. If you'd just think about the ridiculousness of it you would realize you're being played.

It's obvious that the Left thought it would be a good idea to force the issue right before the midterms. Those people aren't walking all the way, they're being transported. They aren't going to make it on empty bellies, they're being fed. That's a lot of effort and expense going into us "being played." Most people realize who's playing who and this will backfire on the Dems just like Kavanaugh did. It's sad that Dems have to resort to this sort of thing instead of arguing the issues that matter.
