Legitmate Grievances for Atlantic Supplement?

Bubblehead

My Senior Picture
They haven't gave out name badges since after I started here.
The only ones I see around here are hanging on lanyards around their neck.
Problem with that is two fold.
First, half the time they are facing in and can't be read.
Secondly, I think they may be a safety hazard around moving belts.
I may have to call OSHA.;)

We used to get them years ago. It was brass and clipped in your shirt pocket.
It had your name and years of service on it.

It's probably been a quarter of a century since I've seen one.

This is why unions get a bad name.

Companies have a 50% stake responsibility to honor an agreement and the Bargaining Unit has a 50% stake in honoring it as well. Its a give-take relationship.

Just because someone knows the page number and Article, does not give the Union a bad name. It just means they are knowledgeable on the subject matter of the contract.

Albert Einstein helped crack the power of the atom. It didnt give him a bad name just because he had the intelligence and knowlegde to learn, figure things out for himself, and solve problems.

By your same arguement The Company also has a bad name.

Hiding behind the contract gives Unions a bad name.
