The truth never changes.
Leave it parked at Worldport for a week and theyll smash it for free. Why wasn't it smashed?

Honestly it’s stupid. A couple hundred in single stage brown and a weekend could paint any bread truck. Toss in some decals from a shady sign shop (or buy a used printer from auction) and you have a vehicle.
Witnessing and documenting dectruction is SOP . Somebody is going to get their ass handed to them in the end for this.Could of swore I read a story where we have some employee that part of their job is to actually witness the destruction of package cars. Couldn't have one falling into the hands of say terrorists or something.

Yeah, i saw that. Should be easy enough to ID the guilty party without even going to Chicago.Yeah, the supervisor that signed off on witnessing the destruction of that one is donemif they see this. Clearly falsified the paperwork.
Looks like the number is 663768, also has the vin in the ad
My supervisor has been keen to get ADA cars disposed of without delay for fear of being forced to rehab them for peak.Maybe my center can take up a collection and buy it! We need cars!!!

How much do you think UPS gets in scrap $ for a truck like this. $500 ?Yeah, we recently had a VT powered 1200 go down for a motor, we got rid of that thing super fast. This time of year I have seen them fix stuff that never should have been fixed, then you end up buried in road calls and writeups from the rehabbed truck that should be soda cans by now.
One of those PVD scabs should buy it.Seems like a good buy. Only needs a couple maintenance items replaced.

These prices are what the scrapers are paid. If you are taking something in to be scrapped expect at least half of thes quotes.
They used to but not too long ago they announced that they no longer wanted our stuff and the market tanked. All over the US vs China tariff wars.I watched a documentary recently talking about how the Chinese come here and buy up tons of our scrap metal.
Hahaha. The Chinese are worried about contamination? That’s rich. The Chinese stopped taking our plastic a few years back because it was too contaminated. Now almost all US plastic is landfilled.
The trade war with China is one of the main factors currently driving scrap metal prices down.
