Caught on camera you want to see the footage. Maximum zoom at the time you pick up the receipt
Any tiddie pics of his wife in it?
Only in your time did people keep pics in their wallet. This is the new age. We have these things called smart phones. Takes the pictures and keeps them for you to look at. I know it's magic.
From experience, I would say not much.how much was in the wallet
Watch it...I prefer "seasoned "Said he was a mechanic
Most grease monkeys are old
NO! How do you get to firing a mechanic who lost his wallet? I didn't read anywhere that the mechanic accused him/her! As for the LP.......I think he is doing his job, a bit too forceful maybe (maybe!) but he left it at "if they can trace it back to me I will be terminated." This, I would assume (assume!), to be a factual statement. If it is proven that you did not steal his wallet, loss prevention AND the mechanic should be fired.
You are right, I misread.I didn't read anywhere that the mechanic accused him/her
It was supposedly on the street, not UPS propertyNO! How do you get to firing a mechanic who lost his wallet? I didn't read anywhere that the mechanic accused him/her! To the OP, I know you probably felt threatened, especially if you picked up a receipt and not a wallet, but put the mechanic's shoe on your foot for a moment. If you had lost your wallet wouldn't you want LP to be a bit forceful and not pull a, "well he said he didn't do it so he must not have done it!" Getting too defensive does not help the optics of the situation.
I think if they knew for sure you would of been fired on the spot. I think they thought you had the opportunity to steal it and we’re trying to get a confessionI was pulled in for a meeting with the LP supervisor. He said that a mechanic lost his wallet and that I was caught on camera picking it up and taking it. This was the camera outside the building facing the sidewalk/street crosswalk. He asserts that I picked it up from the street and took it.
While I did in fact stop in the middle of the street crosswalk, it was my crumbled up receipt that fell out of my pocket while digging in my pockets for my wallet. I told him this but he still asserted that I didn't drop anything. The meeting concluded with him stating that if they trace the wallet back to me that they will terminate me.
What really happened was that the security guard saw me pick up my receipt and assumed I grabbed the wallet. She even asked me if I found something on the floor. I told her I dropped something. And the camera doesn't even show the crosswalk, only 3 feet of it.
So they're accusing me based on flimsy circumstances. It's bogus and stupid.

Yep LP can get bent.It was supposedly on the street, not UPS property
Tell LP to go friend* off.
That must have been an accidental charm. I'm sure I intended to hit the "winner" one instead.
