I knew a customer that had an old Packard (1936?) and he could mostly buy modern parts to put on it. Little had changed.

Cars from that era are still reasonably modern for the most part. Hydraulic brakes are a bit of an issue because they were designed for a different type of fluid.

Electrical systems were different. Generator instead of alternator. I think some were 6 volts too.

That's pretty much what it says. Out of money in 2038 unless things turn around. I will be 70 in 2038.
