We have a full time preload. At full pay
Ours are confusing. Some are same rate as drivers but others pay less. There have been a lot of grievances filed over who gets paid what.

Spend your entire time jumping in and out of the back end of 3-5 PC's.
Lift 3-5 times the weight of one PC's freight.
Have some PT supe yelling at you to hurry up.
This isn't harder on the body than being a PC driver?
Not even close. I preloaded before I started driving.
I did that for a short while. Knees and ankles felt great. A little strain on my.lower back. Zero mental. PressureGo to preload......

Damn. I guess I should up my 401k contributions. I'm at 25 percent as it is right now. Just started contributing last year though.

There is an annual limit for contributions which is adjusted upward every year. I believe it is $18K for this year with an additional $5.5K for those who are 50 or older.
