I could care less for H.P., but this is pretty funny. I can't imagine going to someone's home demanding the package back.

I don't see why the letter carrier would get in trouble. The books shouldn't have been loaded on his vehicle until tomorrow. This is someone else's screwup, whoever dumped them into the USPS "preload". It was nice of the woman to give the books back to help her mailman though, most people wouldn't have done it. The Harry Potter book has been all over the internet already, somebody posted it page by page after somehow getting an early copy.

The Harry Potter thing is more of a PAIN IN THE BUTT than it was really worth to me. FOUR messages regarding this stupid book Friday. A week of PCMs, Give me a break, ITS A BOOK PEOPLE! Not the secret of eternal life.
