Accidents do happen.
When you say you are ex military, no, these kind of accidents don't happen. I hate it that they shot themselves, but they aren't disciplined. Which leads me to believe they aren't ex military but paid actors. They are the laughing stock of social media right now and deservedly so.

I cut at 3.5" and I go about a week and a half between cutting. my biggest problem(IMO) is my front yard is a 9 degree slope, so my water runs off quick and my front yard sees full sun all day. also to the guy with the dead spots I didnt think about grubs or fungus maybe causing his issues.
Cut more frequently, in a week and a half you're probably whacking off 1/2 of your blade.
I said whacking because that's what I meant. You aren't cutting your grass.

This was in no way meant to be mean, start cutting it every 4 days and see what happens, all other things remaining the same. When you see how that improves your grass, go to three days, with or without added rainfall.

wait we are having a lawn care discussion now? Im gearing up to overseed my front yard this fall, I have more clover than I can kill even using weed and feed all summer long.
How big is the front and what type of turf do you have?

Liquid aeration.

I am in the transition zone(Louisville,KY(southern Indiana)). I will be going to TTTF, I want bluegrass but don't have an irrigation system to keep up with bluegrass. If we ever move(we are looking for a new house), ill install irrigation.
Look at Traverse 2, 4th millennium, Regenerate for a mix. TTTF. Top notch. Very dark with good brown patch resistance.

hmm never seen a liquid aeration, but for overseeding I don't know that it will be the best route.

currently TTTF and weeds 2000 sq feet

if you’re serious put some terraces on that 9’ slope
if I was staying in this house I would definitely consider this. I will never own a house on a hill again lol

May work temporarily, I used a product like that 25 or so years ago. Supposed to relieve the soil tension.
On compacted soils the only thing that works for the long run is aerification and topdressing. That is all that works for the long run. Don't you love all the little holes on your greens, and further spaced holes on the fairways. It's the same on residential properties.

I believe it’s a surfactant that defeats the water tension that leads to runoff. Water is able to percolate through the soil, carrying nutrients to the roots.

Only for a limited time, I tried it 25 years ago. Any one that chooses to use it is free to. It was very expensive given the temporary benefit. The only lasting benefit to compacted soils comes from aerification and topdressing.

the idiot who was shot in austin was interviewed shortly before he got wacked

Just read up on him at the NYT. Bad idea to be carrying a rifle in a crowd of morons that’s converging on cars. In Texas.

Really should do better if you actually want to help black people, you wealthy white :censored2:sticks.

did he actually aim his rifle or shoot at the person that killed him? theres not a definite answer anywhere I can find. the person that killed him is cooperating with police from what I have read, so I really doubt the shooter just rolled up and shot him.
