6” of mulch you’ll have no weed problems
That much mulch seem excessive?

We have some beds of annuals, mostly begonia, zinnia, marigolds, and vinca. I plant, then use Baricade pre-emergence herbicide (prodiamine, same stuff as Preen, just stronger). I add a few inches of mulch on top, no weeds all season.

I just keep adding new every year to keep it at 6” the less chemicals the better

"The legislation includes phase-out eligibility based on income. So, once individual adjusted gross income reaches $100,000, or $200,000 for married couples, the deduction is reduced by $50 for every $1,000 in earnings above the threshold."

So a single UPS driver that made $130,000 gross. Would receive a $8,500 deduction. Tax savings of around $1800-1900.

Now they are saying phased out at $160k per person. Is that correct?
