My wife wonders why I love the Internet and feel I need to be on it all of the time.


I tell her I feel like for the first time in human existence all of the knowledge in the world is at my fingertips and it's my duty to soak in as much as I can.

I was just telling my dad, who is a huge fan of books and libraries, that having the internet is being able to find out anything you want to know within seconds. He is computer phobic. Too old to teach that dog any new tricks. Lol.

The internet is a tool. It can be either good or bad depending how it is used. I know people who are at one extreme and refuse to have anything to do with the internet and others at the other end of the scale where everything internet is their lives.

I don't agree with the policy of almost every company forcing people to do everything online. Such as online statements or information only available at a website. While that way is better much of the time people should still be able to use snail mail if that is their preference.

Yeah I agree it can get overwhelming. Email on my phone is the greatest thing ever. Takes 2 seconds to delete them as they come in. Use to it was check once a week 100 emails. What?!?!?!?
