We had this huge damage at the center last night. The clerk asked me to help so I went out of the cozy office into that strange world with all the common folk to help. Well we open it up and it was the same item we processed a damage on a week ago to the same guy. Went in this morning, concern. Called the guy and he asked if FedEx can send it next time. I told him "Unless Amazon boxes stuff better you're going to get the same result."
I had 4 call tags. 2 UPS delivered. And 2 FedEx delivered. They were office chairs. All were damaged but the boxes looked to be in good shape.

Bottom line poor packaging or defective product.

These shippers need to realize if you're going to send it through us or FedEx you have to repack it or pack it better from the start. The boxes the chairs are packed in may work when you are loading them on pallets and into an intermodal container. But when they are going individually through a system as complex and tough as ours, you need to spend the money to ensure it gets from A to B safely.
