I still wouldn't want it in my truck
Unless there was a hand grenade in there with it, I wouldn't have a problem with it. You'd be amazed the things that are radioactive these days. Bananas for example emit a high level of radiation. Or your phone. That thing sends out radio waves all day, and you keep that in your pocket near the family jewels.

It hasn't made mine any bigger. Was hoping for the Godzilla affect.

Uh oh. FedEx was the one this time.

A shipment of radioactive material weighing 27 pounds that was sent to an on-campus office at Texas A&M University is missing, KBTX reported.

"The outside of the package has a logo from RITVERC and has UN2910 marking," Meyer's email said, according to KBTX.

FedEx records show the package, which is a cardboard box that weighs 27 pounds and measures 20 inches on each side, was delivered on Aug. 21 and that a “KHOUSELY” signed for it, the station reported.

“We obviously want to locate this package as quickly as possible. . ."

I hope it's Ground, although they probably wouldn't have bothered with a signature. Lol.

A big college usually has a central receiving everything goes to. Except for possible exceptions like medical or research buildings.
The campus we deliver to has central receiving for the dorms only. The rest we deliver. The amount of send agains on that truck every night is amazing. There were 70 yesterday.

I delivered to a big college for years. It was great. Only a few delivery points. THEN they decided to contract out mail services. And those people were LAZY. I went from 5 stops to 10-15 stops. I was glad to get off that route. Lol.

nowhere special
Colleges usually don't like delivery trucks driving all over campus. It disrupts the university ambiance. Plus safety and security issues.
