I still wouldn't want it in my truck
I've delivered bunches of radioactives. Does UPS not transport radioactives?

Unless there was a hand grenade in there with it, I wouldn't have a problem with it. You'd be amazed the things that are radioactive these days. Bananas for example emit a high level of radiation. Or your phone. That thing sends out radio waves all day, and you keep that in your pocket near the family jewels.I still wouldn't want it in my truck
Low grade radioactive but 27 pounds is a lot. I'm surprised they could ship that much in one box.
They don't put those in their butts.I'm so hot that if I were a turkey that little red thing would have shot out my but by now.
I've never had to deal with it.I've delivered bunches of radioactives. Does UPS not transport radioactives?
It hasn't made mine any bigger. Was hoping for the Godzilla affect.Unless there was a hand grenade in there with it, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Uh oh. FedEx was the one this time.
A shipment of radioactive material weighing 27 pounds that was sent to an on-campus office at Texas A&M University is missing, KBTX reported.
"The outside of the package has a logo from RITVERC and has UN2910 marking," Meyer's email said, according to KBTX.
FedEx records show the package, which is a cardboard box that weighs 27 pounds and measures 20 inches on each side, was delivered on Aug. 21 and that a “KHOUSELY” signed for it, the station reported.
“We obviously want to locate this package as quickly as possible. . ."

I just pulled it up and there is no limit on the amount of UN2910 that you can ship. Heck you don't even need to declare it in the UPS system.Low grade radioactive but 27 pounds is a lot. I'm surprised they could ship that much in one box.
Or delivering it to the correct address.I hope it's Ground, although they probably wouldn't have bothered with a signature. Lol.
I am wondering in the FedEx driver forged a signature and left it. Or just let the first warm body he saw sign even though it may not have been an employee.I hope it's Ground, although they probably wouldn't have bothered with a signature. Lol.
Throw some elephant tusks inside the package.I just pulled it up and there is no limit on the amount of UN2910 that you can ship. Heck you don't even need to declare it in the UPS system.
Now that PETA will try and hang you forThrow some elephant tusks inside the package.

Nope. You just can't ship limited quantity. So essentially they're saying you can't ship just a little, you have to send a lot lolnot even air shipping restrictions?

Maybe the latter. If you've ever delivered to a college, you know what a PITA it is to find someone to sign.
The campus we deliver to has central receiving for the dorms only. The rest we deliver. The amount of send agains on that truck every night is amazing. There were 70 yesterday.A big college usually has a central receiving everything goes to. Except for possible exceptions like medical or research buildings.
