One bulky package takes up the belt space of 15 smalls. If you look at PPH by trailers in our building you can tell which trailers were filled with smalls and what weren't. We're a one belt, two spa operation. With our Minneapolis trailers it is a ton of Amazon. Lots of smalls. PPH will jump to 2300 PPH. Meanwhile our St Paul, lots of bulk. PPH drops to about 1400. For drivers, a big package requires you to take a cart and maneuver the package more. With a small, grab and go. Everything is quicker with smalls.
After what you see going on through the window?I'm just telling you what I see on people's porches.
I was being sarcastic.I bet you could deliver those 15 LL Bean bags far quicker.

I'm not saying you're gaining an extra time allowance, just that you will be able to deliver an Amazon envelope faster than a say a box of T-Shirts.You are almost making sense. Except there is no extra time allowance for larger packages.
I have a heavy post office involved .... I am up around 450 avgUsually do around 300

Unfortunately too many of the home stops are all big packages.I'm not saying you're gaining an extra time allowance, just that you will be able to deliver an Amazon envelope faster than a say a box of T-Shirts.
