So you saying drivers do that to each other.
From the drivers I've helped I've heard similar stories but if we all work together and stand up for each other they can't screw all of us I'm just upset with our mindset of me me me instead of true TEAMsters I take it in stride and always stand up for coworkers before I agree w mgmt ever

I wish PT Supervisor was a union position. Not even necessarily teamster, just union. I have more of them on my side right now than package handlers, and they all stand to lose their jobs if they help me contradict those higher up. Not good.

I need to stop ranting sorry but idk what to do if a good coworker will side w mgmt I need to have these new guys stand up for themselves when I'm not around and know their rights cause most the new folk won't explain anything to them

I have one pt supe that likes me for standing up to another one because of their working relationship I can make it happen as long as people around me stop being afraid that's the problem tho they think mgmt will ruin them but that's harassment

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Outreach is not the union's strong point. That's where the battle needs to begin. Tracking down new members, making sure they have a contract. Telling them their basic rights, and letting them know how they can find out more if they want.

As it is, PT employees are left to fend for themselves. I was here for 5 months before I got a contract, and I had to ask for it.

If they gave us regular loaders +1$ an hour to train new guys for a week or so they would do great and not be lost like right now

Watching Lockup and a guys showing his tats has one down near his junk. He says a guy did that tat in prison. He said it should say "Danielle's World" but the guy was illiterate and says "Daniel's World" . Lmbo

As a Peter I'll gladly stick up for my boys even the slacks the problem is people are scared cause our leadership only cares about older guys not us young guys that will be funding their retirement us young guys got big balls they just are afraid of mgmt threats and haven't learned much about the contract I'd say I'm the most educated about the contract in my age group and when I bring it up they talk aboutmgmt retaliations even tho we are protected from that if we stick together

I got a contract within my first two weeks but that's cause as a clerk I voted to go union and got bullied back then but I had good stewards there so they taught me how to act and stand up for others
