Ocasio-Cortez and the “socialist” left

The problem with her platform, and the assertion that her victory is a sign of a wider leftward push across the Country, is that most of the rest of the Country is not like the blue parts of New York. If the Democrats let her control the narrative, they’ll keep losing.
And that brings me back to why I believe in smaller federal government and more state power. Try this :censored2: in New York if this is what y’all want, good luck bankrupting your state bruh. Leave the country out of it.

There were enough young adults attracted to Sanders to make me think that's the direction the Dems are going. Young adults have been led by pied pipers like Sanders into believing they have no future with capitalism. And the young want to jump on the bandwagon when something is perceived as popular. If the jobs aren't there in sufficient numbers then they want someone to guarantee they'll have the life they want.

For a party that supports eugenics in the womb they sure do have a lot of mentally deficient folks leading their party.

I don't think she'll control the narrative but her youth and charisma will energize Democrats and with no Hillary to divide the party. I see her as only a positive in the upcoming election and 2020.
A positive for those that believe in a Republic. Keep churning out these America haters. There are more of us than you think.

You had to go deep into your backside to offer that non-responsive answer. Care to go back and re-read what was posted and give a legitimate response.
We know the dims rigged it against Sanders.
What did Trump co-opt from Sanders?
I’m sorry. I didn’t realize that you are so dim witted. The economic system. Not that the political system isn’t, but most people have probably burned through the $1000 PR gimmicks if they even got them.

It’s not just the young. Its the family farmer in Illinois that listened to Trump’s populism. The coal miner in Pennsylvania who wanted to believe a new, huge day for coal was on the horizon. The Harley mechanic in Wisconsin. The Ford auto manufacturer in Detroit. A lot of uncertainty and a president flailing away with whatever his tiny tweeting fingers think of next.

I’m still noticing a sizeable difference in my paychecks, about a 80-100 less in taxes.

Still waiting for what Trump co-opted from Sanders. We are agreed I'm dim-witted, now can you support your claim?
