Hello and happy Tuesday fellow Teamster brothers! Again, I want to congratulate Kenny and Jimmy on getting us the best contract ever. You know they had to pass the contract in order to see what was in the contract, right?

I went to work yesterday all shined up and pressed in my Browns only to see the same scuzzy coworkers and their negative attitudes barely at work! We just got big raises and job protections! WTH? Managers all moping around and barking orders and looking at spreadsheets and spitting out meaningless safety jargon. WTH? We deserve your respect you POS!

It's like no one even knew the best contract ever even passed! And to think we will be getting our retro checks in just 6-8 weeks! You are all such ungrateful Teamsters! Imagine ordering something from Macy's and getting it that fast. I thank my luck stars that I work for UPS. And you should too.

Retroactive pay will be sent to eligible employees in 6-8 weeks. If you have direct deposit, the money will be transferred to your account in 6-8 weeks. If you’re not sure how retro pay works, scroll to the bottom of this article to see an example.

Also, new pay rates will be programmed in to the system May 5 and will be reflected in paychecks that are received May 16 and 17.

It's the fact UPS gets to use our money (for free) to earn interest. Granted it's not a lot of money, and I don't live week to week.
*The retro money IS mine and would have been earning ME interest in MY savings account. Make sense?

Exactly. We are saving the next quarter. Maybe be won't have to delay fueling up the last day of the quarter to satisfy Wall St. Maybe I can get that $5 spark plug from automotive
