I remember a driver doing the same thing probably over 20 years ago, there was a couple of us including the center manager in his office checking it out…..no way would that happen today.
We just had a retirement party for a guy whose company date was 1985, started driving in 1989. His speech was interesting and reflected how times change. He made a joke about smoking a pack of cigarettes a shift while working preload back in the 80’s. He would always have a cigarette hanging out of his mouth working inside. I thought the same thing, that would never happen now. Times do change.

We smoked all the time on the sort belt. Back then you could smoke on airplanes and movie theaters (theaters you weren't supposed to but everyone did). When we had our first child my wife was put in a "smoking room" with 3 other smokers in the hospital.

It’s worse than cigarettes, because it’s affecting more people and children with ease. You have to be 18 or 21 to buy cigarettes, all you need is a smart phone at any age, to watch porn.
Well.. when the wife says no, PornHub is your only option. Unless you have a mistress on your route.

Average age of first exposure to pornography is now 11 years old.

And for anyone who thinks of the cliche teenager getting a glimpse of a Playboy centerfold, those days are long gone. You know damn well what's online. That's what little kids are exposed to. 11 years old is the average. And no one is doing anything about it.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

It makes me sick to think about it.

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do about it other than parental awareness and with the fact that now most families have two working parents it’s harder.

I have a difficult time seeing how early exposure to online porn is anywhere close to the negative effects of a tobacco addiction.

If I caught a kid smoking, I would be VERY concerned about the future of that child. Catching a kid watching porn would simply prompt a candid discussion on the birds and the bees.
