One of our on-car supes is gay and I feel bad for her hearing all the nasty remarks made about her behind her back. The drivers we have who many suspect are gay almost have it worse. Our building is overwhelmingly religious so it comes as no surprise. Now I’m not gonna say anything about it. I’ve denied hearing things said in there when asked that I absolutely heard because I’m just not that kinda guy. I’m here to do my job, get paid, and go home.

If they do it behind their backs they are either cowards or just poking fun. A lot of it is the poking fun. They want to still come off as the “cool guy” around their “macho friends .” I get it and that doesn’t really upset me. It’s the guys where you tell there is true hated in their tone that concern me. Again, how do you hate someone so much for something that has nothing to do with you whatsoever? Ain’t nobody got time for all dat.
