Same here, I expected them to catch it. I mean, who wouldn’t complain about not getting paid? It was during my progression so it was 84 dollars. Time and a half! Lol
I remember one year(only happened once)that about a 5 of us didn't get paid for our vacation week so we all bitched and got our green checks, then at the end of the year we all got paid a week for unused vacation time....BOOM!

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

I’m sure you brought that to your supervisors attention

Well in his case I think he said he gets along with his management. That makes a big difference lol.
Yes, I am very lucky to be in a smaller center, Every driver has my number and they all work with me. My supervisors over the years and even managers we all had a great relationship. If I messed up they knew I would fix the issue by myself. I've made many mistakes over the years and always told them exactly what I did wrong, ended that conversation with I wont do it again. Actually in the auto dept we had honesty between us and management. I didnt see that over the years with the drivers- many bad sups came along. Past on road sups all the way up to division managers were horrible to the drivers.
I would say the main reason I had good relay with my sups is I could make their numbers due to my drivers all going above and beyond on getting cars in being road calls is our biggest watched issue. If I didn't have that due to the drivers retiring would be so easy

Update!!!
I wish I would have pulled the trigger last year on my 30 year anniversary-That came to mind last night

Update!!!!!! Just stuff I have noticed

Week one was a complete total shock to the system-(Like I lost my job or close friend))

In another forum I mentioned I went to a Teamsters retirees meeting being my parents belong to it and joined. Looking around at all the people with health conditions was an eye opener. So many gave their prime years of their life to a corporation to only retire with bad backs, knees etc.

Many don't have a parent or parents around to spend more time with after retirement

Even with the buyout rumor I am still glad I am gone- I can get by on what I have and what I get knowing that I have added another summer to enjoy while I am healthy. I was planning on chasing the carrot just 3 1/2 more years. So many leave when they have or have to due to a major health issues.

Having healthy years in retirement is a blessing. I can still hike, climb, bike ride, run, swim ,head stands etc etc zero health issues and now I am actually stress free and stepped up eating even better. My slight constant tension headache is gone---- Fitness center-joining Monday
Stress is a major factor in age declining- I feel I am reversing now in just a couple weeks.

Hopefully others will benefit from all this.

You made the right choice because you decided it was time. Waiting around for a buyout offer isn’t worth it, Enjoy brother.

I doubt it will be life changing money.
My gut tells me it’s not as well, but if it’s not, I don’t know why a lot of people would even bother with it unless they were already within 12 to 15 months of thinking of retiring anyway?

It’s not easy to replace a job like this, not impossible, but not easy, and nobody with a decade or more in wants to start over somewhere else. If it’s not somewhat lucrative upfront, I don’t know why UPS would even bother.

It will probably be enough to nudge some folks out the door.
