Last time in Mexico , I left my rental car on this side and walked in .
Driving back north afterwards , I was stopped at one of those check points and they completely searched the car .
Darn it the took all my mexican beer .

I have to disagree with you on this one. If I were ever asked to have my home searched I would insist upon a warrant, even though I know that I have nothing to hide.
I disagree too. But if I haven't done anything, why am I to allow a cop to search my person without a warrant? I don't have to speak to them or comply with detainment do I? Hell, if I run am I guilty? This is why "stop and frisk" is complete BS.

Because there are dirty cops that plant evidence. There's absolutely nothing wrong with asserting your rights as a citizen. Innocent or not.
