carry on defending a repeat offender of violent gun crimes, one against a woman, that we know of.

The man.WAS IN COMPLETE COMPLIANCE. There is literally, zero evidence that Floyd resisted arrest, and a PROFOUND amount of evidence that suggests he did not.

It does matter, what I question is was the force excessive.
You see emotionally charged video of a man crying for his mother before dying and your heart breaks for him, throw in the race component and America’s history, I get it. That is fine.
But evidence is slowly mounting the other direction. The guy was a repeat offender of violent crimes running out of chances to be free.. he luck ran out. In the video I heard people telling him “told you so” “told you can’t win with them should I just got in the car”
This is highlighting the fact that there could of been a struggle before hand. Add agitated bystanders to the mix and police worrying about keeping a rather large man who is resisting and has previous medical conditions they do not know about it’s ripe for something bad like this to happen.

The security footage doesn’t show how he ended up on the ground does it?
I’ve seen some, it does not show the full picture. I also question why that is after the Covington kids video, why they didn’t show the black Israelites hurling their bile.

I just wondered if he enjoyed hearing that woman in fear while he robbed her. I wonder how much empathy he chose to show the people he had hurt.

When ever you have a history of violent gun crimes, yes police will treat you differently than others. Don’t act like this is not a factor in this man’s death. They ran his plates, they had an idea of who they were dealing with.
